Grand Canyon

I have never been so emotionally affected by a place in my life. The Grand Canyon had me in awe. When I turned the corner and discovered its immenseness I actually started to shake. I mean, it could have been the vertigo but it really hit me in the chest.  I never expected it to move me as much as it did.

One thing that I’ve noticed on this trip is that Americans really take advantage of all the natural wonders around them. Facilities at tourists attractions are really top notch and most of the time, there are more American visitors than foreign.

On our way to the Grand Canyon we stopped at Montezuma's Castle where I got to learn all America's indigenous people.

We also visited Rock Slide State Park which was the most fun I've had on this trip so far.

It's basically a small canyon with rapid running fresh water and slippery flat rocks you can slide down. Sounds weird, and is a bit painful, but was really great fun.

Tomorrow I am going to trek around the Grand Canyon and watch the sunset again.

It's breathtaking.
