GOODBYE WEST COAST

Well well well.

Today I leave the west coast of America. It’s been quite a ride.

My first time in the US has surprised me. Most of my naive pre conceptions about America have been completely wrong.

The place I thought I would love (LA) I didn’t like so much. The place I thought I had completely figured out (Vegas) shocked me.      Places I didn’t know much about (San Fran, San Diego) stole my heart.

I met some of the nicest, funniest, genuine people. I found common ground with people from all over the world, whether they spoke English or not. That’s one thing I love about travelling. You’re given an opportunity to become friends with people whose path you would NEVER cross otherwise.

I got to experience some of the most amazing natural sites in the world. I will never forget seeing the Grand Canyon for the first time… or standing at the lowest point below sea level in the western hemisphere, Death Valley.

I’m so inspired to keep travelling and discovering more of this world.

So thank you west coast for opening my eyes to the vast landscapes this county offers. Thank you for being relatively kind to me.

But most of all… thank you for my tan.

East coast I’m on the way.

New York get ready!
